Bike Durham is looking to hire a new director of development, filling a critical role to lead their staff, board, and volunteers in their development work enabling Bike Durham’s delivery on their organization’s mission, strategic plan, and annual work plans. This individual will lead the organization’s development strategies as Bike Durham continues to grow. They are looking for someone who has experience with non-profit development and who shares our passion for transformational change so that everyone in Durham has access to safe, affordable, and sustainable transportation regardless of who they are or where they live.

For this year’s calendar, we ask you to share with us your favorite places along the Eno River. We know that so many of you have a trail, a swimming hole, a historic site, and other places that are special to you. Submissions are open through May 31, 2024.

Climate Community Conversations
The Central Pines Regional Council (CPRC) was awarded a $1 million Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) by EPA to develop the climate action plan for our region. Butterfly Highway – Feb 3
Please join us for an afternoon of Butterfly Highway seed packing and mingling with like-minded conservationists at the Southwest Regional Library in Durham on Saturday, February 3rd, 12pm – 2pm. This will be a great opportunity to learn about what it takes to be part of a Community Wildlife Chapter and how NCWF is working to protect and conserve wildlife and habitat throughout the state.
