Join the Eno River Association as Director of Stewardship

The Eno River Association is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as our Director of Conservation and Stewardship.

This role works closely with the Executive Director, land and stewardship staff, and the ERA’s conservation partners to develop and implement strategies for acquisition of conservation lands and easements and oversees and executes the land protection and stewardship programs of the Association. Responsibilities include managing a growing portfolio of conservation easement and Association-owned fee lands while also assisting with the management of conservation partner protected lands.

Join a dynamic organization dedicated to protecting the natural and cultural resources of the Eno River basin. Lead impactful land protection and stewardship initiatives while advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in conservation.

Capture Nature: TLC’s 2025 Photo Challenge Awaits

Triangle Land Conservancy’s photo contest is back! We had some incredible submissions last year, and we’re excited to kick off 2025 with an exciting new challenge and see our trails through your camera lenses.

We’re switching up our contest categories this year to celebrate and represent each of TLC’s seven public nature preserves – Bailey & Sarah Williamson Preserve in Raleigh, Flower Hill Preserve in Middlesex, George & Julia Brumley Family Preserve in Chapel Hill, Horton Grove Preserve in Bahama, Johnston Mill Preserve in Chapel Hill, Swift Creek Bluffs Preserve in Raleigh, and White Pines Preserve in Sanford.

Working Lands Manager Position at Triangle Land Conservancy

Triangle Land Conservancy (TLC) is hiring for a Working Lands Manager! Application deadline: 11/18/24   Salary: $50-53k/year

This new position will administer a five-year $6 million grant awarded to TLC by the Natural Resource Conservation Service. The Working Lands Manager’s focus will be in Chatham County where they will assist with closing existing projects, seeking funding for new projects, and meeting with landowners to explore their conservation options. This position will coordinate the Pathways into Natural Environments and Science (PINES) Fellowship and foster partnerships with educational and community organizations to advance our mission. Beyond this initiative, this position will also develop and implement engaging programs, support emerging professionals, and cultivate relationships that create long-term impact in conservation and environmental education. 

Hiring Range: $48-50k

Position: Full-Time

Apply for NHBA’s $5000 Land Restoration Grant

New Hope Bird Alliance (NHBA) is committed to supporting land acquisition and restoration that helps protect and preserve, or restore wildlife habitat in North Carolina, focusing on property in Orange, Durham and Chatham counties.  As such, NHBA is funding a grant for up to $5000 to be awarded by January 31, 2025.  The project should support land conservation or restoration.  The current grant application period is open from November 8 through November 29, 2024.  For specifics on the grant and to the complete a form please use this link:
