House Bill 198 would allow billboard companies to clearcut hundreds if not thousands of public trees along highway rights-of-way in North Carolina.
Native redbud trees, which are currently protected, can be cut down under HB 198 so billboards can be viewed..
Please use this action alert from the Sierra Club to ask your senator to oppose HB 198.
