How does it work?
Our neighborhoods have large Compost Now bins where neighbors can drop off their food waste 24/7 at a location that’s blocks from their house. Compost Now picks up the bins once a week and exchanges them for clean ones. The grant funding that we have pays for the Compost Now service and also pays for counter top bins that people can use to collect their food waste before bringing it to the larger bins.
