Arbor Day Celebration on Saturday, October 17th from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. at the Forest Shelter at Pleasant Park.
Apex is excited to host its first stand-alone Arbor Day celebration as part of our continued commitment to being a Tree City USA community and supporting a healthy, thriving urban forest. The morning will include a commemorative tree planting and Arbor Day proclamation, opportunities for hands-on tree care and mulching, educational demonstrations focused on planting and caring for trees, and environmental organizations tabling with informational booths, crafts and activities for kids.
